This softcore entry is a sequel of sorts to the rather obscure Young Lady Chatterly from a few years ago. It’s a solid romp featuring some very alluring women in some very amorous situations.  Despite the often inane dialogue and quite a few silly scenes, fans of the genre should still have a fine time.

The title character is played by Harlee McBride, an attractive, shapely brunette.  She resides over the vast Chatterly estate in merry, modern England.  Although she’s happily married to a pleasant enough fellow, he is often away on business and doesn’t satisfy her in bed when at home.  Luckily, the Lady’s handsome, horny gardener is always available for sexual consultation.  Plus, she occasionally derives pleasure from the enticing female servants as well.

Other characters entering the Lady’s life include Batman’s Adam West as a fumbling historian searching the estate for evidence that Lady Godiva once rode through the grounds, and top-billed Sybil Danning appearing briefly against type as a straight-laced, rather miserable matron.  Danning does simulate a sexual session with the gardener, but she barely removes her bra.

While director Alan Roberts has dabbled in the hardcore arena (he helmed Fleshdance Fever, he capable handles some hot softcore encounters in this film.  Two steamy seduction scenes stand out: Lady Chatterly fooling around with a masquerading French Count in the backseat of her limousine, and an erotic chess game reminiscent of the one played by Steve McQueen and Fay Dunaway in The Thomas Crown Affair.

Finally, after viewing this flick, you’d swear it as lensed on location in the magnificent English countryside. Alas, the film was actually shot on two enormous estates in Beverly Hills.
