Wouldn't it be great if we cold take the best part of our favorite movies and put them all into one film? There wouldn't be much of a plot, but there sure would be a lot of action. Welcome to The World of Henry Paris, where "fantasy and gratification are always king and queen."

This movie is a montage of clips from several of the master's films, notably Barbara Broadcast, The Dirty Girls, Camille 2000, Misty Beethoven and Carmen Baby, some of which were filmed under the monicker Radley Metzger. It is held together loosely by a female narrator, whose intonations introduce and describe each scene. The emphasis is on the spontaneous and unexpected; however, there is something for every taste in this movie.

Many of the scenes are priceless, either for their humor, eroticism or both. That old trouper Georgina Spelvin finds ecstasy in the arms and legs of her understanding girlfriend. Annette Haven, in the fantasy disco, gives the most tantalizing head I have ever seen on film. Jamie Gillis exhibits his staying power, as he first supervises and then participates in a sex lesson between two very aroused ladies.

These are among the best scenes, and there are other good ones, as well. Unfortunately, a few segments suffer from being too long, poorly edited, or not explicit. Attempts at being artsy fail; for example, a slow-motion come shot is funny, not arousing.

The few problems aside, as a compilation, The World of Henry Paris is worth watching for its lovely bodies, lusty action and its good sense of humor. The performers always look like they're enjoying themselves, and so will you.
