Here it is folks, the first (or is it the second) porn imitation of Madonna and her Desperately Seeking Susan flick. And it's not bad, either. Writer-director Adam has decided to take the "Susan" plot almost by-the-numbers, inserting hardcore footage as a logical extension of the story. Since I'm not a great fan of the original movie, Once Upon A Madonna actually held more interest for me.

The story, for the uninitiated, is about a case of mistaken identity. Susan (played here by Erica Boyer), is a floozy drifter who switches places —and sexual partner— with bored housewife Rochelle (Patti Petite). Personal ads in a local newspaper, stoles jewels and wacky plot contrivances populate the rest of the tale.

Although the timing in the comic moments is a bit off here, the sex comes in hot-and-heavy doses, with dripping close-ups and lots of oral action. Little Oral annie makes an appearance, demonstrating her specialty, and Petite and Boyer look like the actors who originated their parts —Rosanna Arquette and Madonna, respectively.

If you're seeking a porn tape that can stand erect next to its inspiration, start seeking Once Upon A Madonna.
