Critical Rating: A

Despite the variation of sex scenes, including anal, double penetration and a scene with a black man and blonde woman, Swinging Shift has the look of faded old loops, even though it’s all new material.  The cheapness, with washed-out film quality and poor sound, makes the very typical action worse than it actually is.

The unimaginative story concerns a guy who loses every job he garners because he can’t keep his hands off the women.  Flashback to flashback, every sex scene gets boring several minutes into it.  Even Raven looks bad here, if you can believe that.  And attractive Kristara Barrington, one of the many below average actresses in Swinging Shift, is wasted during a sex scene that concentrates on her face, rather than her lithesome body.

You can’t mix every sexual combination into a stew and come out with a hot sex film.  It takes a script and decent production values.  Swinging Shift looks like a throwback, and in this case, I’d rather watch crusty old loops.
