“When there’s no more room in hell, the dead will walk the Earth….”  Oops.  Wrong movie. Though there may not be any zombies in Deep Ghost, the dead Do indeed get to eat the living and vise versa.  You see, as Heaven Can Wait provided the inspiration for An Unnatural Act, Topper does for this feature.

Deep Ghost lacks much of the credibility that the above-mentioned pictures have. When the tenants of a haunted house (Herschel Savage and Lisa DeLeeuw) are approached by the horny ghosts, their astonishment at the randy poltergeist’s activities is not particularly convincing.  However, the assortment of sexual hi-jinx that follow is enough to suspend anybody’s disbelief.  What makes the show worthwhile is a little twist: each time the female ghost appears, it’s in a different guise (being Colleen Brennan, Tracy Duzit and Linda Shaw). Poor Randy West doesn’t get to switch bodies.

Actually, the box cover for Deep Ghost sums up its contents perfectly, describing it as “more like a high gloss network sit-com than an adult movie.”  Now that restores my faith in advertising.
