Overcrowding the adult video market with old loops may not be the greatest marketing idea; what with many companies releasing "classic" sex featurettes for the video market. Gourmet Video may have scored a coo recently by tacking the infamous Marilyn Monroe loop onto two of their "special edition" tapes. But everybody seems to be releasing something with Candy Samples and the old stuff, plainless speaking, isn't worth getting excited about.

Candy, herself, moves naturally through these very crude vignettes with great humor and ease. The thinly guised story involves a whorehouse that Ms. Samples runs as she teaches her young prodigies how to give head and satisfy the male patrons. The biggest plot advancement occurs when Candy finds out that one of the whores has been holding out on her and she ties this scoundrel to the bedpost to spank her.

Notable is the muzaaked background music that includes "Classical Gas" and "MacArthur Park" – see if you can guess the rest. Because of some choppy editing and mostly boring sex, The Candy Store is only interesting in small doses.
