Being corrupted by the pleasures of the flesh often has its drawbacks, as Jamie Gillis and a few friends discover in this very slick, highly visual production by Richard Mahler. As erotica, Corruption might very well be the most intelligent, off-the-wall idea to hit adult video since Café Flesh.

Along with the moody and slightly surreal quality of the film, there’s plenty of attractive women (Tiffany Clark being one of my favorites), spirited and nicely paced sex, fine acting and a bizarre double-murder plot that is both disturbing and suspenseful.

Corruption proves to be both classy and sassy and I recommend it highly. Just don’t let it corrupt you; you might have to pay the circumstances.
