Two of the four scenes contain definitive BDSM moments. The rest of this mixed bag misses the mark by a gaping margin. Nina Hartley and Ernest Greene deal out a mix of loving kisses, chokeholds, caresses and ass paddling upon Amber Michaels. Their scene has a nice flourish of lesbian eroticism and is the vid's standout.

The other scenes retain a carefree air, suggesting Hartley is winging it. But a firm tension is needed to make things work as a whole, and there is none. Nicole Sheridan's convincing turn as a stern Mistress and the book-balancing excursion keep things afloat. Some innovation, but not enough erotic anxiety.
