Critical Rating: AAA 1/2
Genre: Golden Age
Major selling points: Tara Aire's a beauty, and Samantha Fox actually performs without Bobby Astyr!
Tara Aire's a magazine model whose granddad will leave her $15 million if she marries within a month, and Samantha Fox is the modeling agency head who wants to torpedo the deal so Aire will continue to model for her - so Fox finds a guy (Roderic Pierce) for Aire who's interested only in producing plays with her money, not in making a marriage work. Of course, Pierce winds up falling for her - but she's so bored with the soft life, she goes back to work for Fox anyway.
Originally rated AAA by AVN at a time when four A's was the top score, this film deserves a bit better than that, mainly for its production values - and the fact that the director actually tried to stage part of a theatrical production of Sophocles' Oedipus Rex in the course of the plot - but that last is also part of the reason the film doesn't score even higher: Sophocles is boring in the midst of a sex feature. And then there's Ron Jeremy as a photog with a horrendous French accent ...
Along the way, however, fans of classic features will find an anal scene with Tiffany Clark, and Lisa B. as the hooker Aire hires to satisfy her when she tires of watching her two male slaves jack off.
