An established director need accomplish only one thing: keeping the faithful fans "standing" at attention. Max's 15-plus year track record redefined rough sex. Here, he does his best to keep up with the imitators he's spawned.

Max uses split-screen during scenes and provides his usual witty asides mid-face/ass-fuck, but the stylistic and humorous flourishes (a post-production afterthought in most cases) cannot cover up the fact that these are four of the most disposable scenes of a career.

Max just goes through the motions, including his usual tactics ad nausea, all in the name of female-degradation (yawn). One lucky schoolgirl gets a mouthful of Max's starfish (rare). The result is neither offensive nor outrageous, just a dull straightaway of white noise.
