Set on the day that Hitler invades Poland, Midnight Desires is the story of a couple that goes to a mansion for an evening of games, and ends up becoming a baroque sociopolitical essay on fantasy and sex.

There is a lot of kink here, especially for 1976, involving humiliation, degradation, homosexuality, bondage, gender-bending, and period costumery (!). Unfortunately, the sex is just average, save for the humiliation scene, which is pretty darn hot, even for 2005.

Watch for porn veteran Jamie Gillis to give some of the cheesiest acting of all time when he learns that Poland has been invaded. This, alone, is worth the price of admission. The transfer isn't bad, and the production quality still holds up well.

Retailing: Kinkier than most in the period, and cheesy, too!
