There must be a reason a company the size of Playboy Entertainment would put out a softcore DVD that lacks extras and spells an A-list star like Kaylani Lei's name wrong on all the packaging and credits, but this reviewer has no idea what that reason is. It's not like PEG lacks other projects to promote with trailers, or that they don't have stills for photo galleries.

Sex Spa 2 is a solid movie as far as softcore goes: pretty cast, better than average plot, but there's very little here to celebrate.

The exception is Kaylani, who shows great acting chops all through the movie, creating a vivid, erotic character that elicited a very real sympathetic reaction.

The rest of the girls look great and perform well in their scenes, for what it's worth.

If Playboy wants to push into the adult DVD market, they will have to step it up far beyond this mediocre effort.

Retailing: What it lacks in hardcore heat, it almost makes up for in beautiful, well-shot talent.
