Phase Ten Productions, by way of humdingerdvd.com (by way of a parent company higher still), has seemingly built its archival reputation on VHS transfers to DVD. With their fourth installment of Chocolate Thunder, that trend continues. Six of the seven scenes offered are ancient tape segments, and their collective age invariably shows, blemished by the common noise, fraying and tracking of yesterday's technology.

However, the package offered is hefty, those seven scenes yielding almost two hours of straightforward, mostly black-on-black sex. The cover is adorned with a misleading "All Natural" seal: there are fake titties mixed into the video (and some dyed hair, too). The faces and figures run the gamut of attraction; and there's even a BBW segment from the Ophra Dickby Show!

On the technical and bonus fronts, there is little and nothing to speak of, respectively. Menu navigation is difficult, and there are no extras.

Retailing: While certainly not "the booty call to end all booty calls," CT4 will doubtlessly thrill retro-fetishists and black enthusiasts alike.
