"There's a thin line between stupid and clever," remarked Nigel Tufnel in Spinal Tap. Well, Freak on a Leash doesn't even approach that line, let alone cross it. The central gag is having girls wearing leashes, being led around, barking and eating "kibble" from a dog bowl prior to the action. In specialty vids they take this stuff seriously. In Freak, it just puts us to sleep – as do the subsequent, mind-numbing interviews. Who exactly is yanking whose chain here?

Of course any release with Sandra Romain and Jayna Oso can't be a total loss. Oso is nailed in the bum by one guy, while Romain takes on duo dicks in a fairly feisty threesome (which finds her upended for some decent jackhammer tunneling). The obligatory gooey facial closes out the scene. Rover and out.
