Teen cheerleaders go on their backs to raise money for a trip to Dallas to try out as "Texas Cowgirls." As a movie, it's thoroughly routine; as pop culture, it's an icon. And it's never looked better than in this digital restoration by Kitty Media. The bright, crisp color, in fact, makes it look like it was shot last week.

There's an audio commentary, plus a second disc of extras that includes the softcore version. An interview with bit player Robin Byrd is mostly about her cable TV career but fascinating nonetheless.
