So many things changed when the Soviet Union imploded and its Communist party officials found themselves scrambling for work. The Hotel Fetish, viewers are told, is an example of the ingenuity that supported one such official until its beloved bordello doors closed for good — or relocated, depending upon whose story one chooses to believe.

In documentary style interviews, six Hungarian, Czech and Polish former Hotel Fetish workers fondly recall their glory days as professional corset and lingerie specialists, foot and stocking fetishists, food play companions, lapdance dominas, exhibitionists and — in one case — a deflowered virgin whose bloodstains commanded a high price.

Each woman's identity is cloaked in shadows and her story beautifully "reconstructed" for the sexual satisfaction of the camera. Each recounts the joy she experienced living out her sexual fantasies in the company, and with the assistance, of men and women who shared them — all for glorious cash instead of merely personal satisfaction.
