Production-wise, Pretty Little Asians 49 lacks consistency and views more like a compilation of scenes from a variety of directors. But what does string these scenes together is quality. The Japanese market as a whole ought to follow PLA's lead in terms of what it takes to produce better than average hardcore scenes.

Most of the scenes are shot gonzo style and one of them is a POV. But what's most noticeable is that these young Japanese girls actually perform on camera, as opposed to lying there with eyes closed, taking it as if they have little other choice. The latter is too often the case with Japanese imports.

Retailing: This is a standout series for the Asian import shelf.
