Director Trouble’s followup to Roulette is disappointing, with a rather amateurish look. The premise is all-girl, alt-porn re-enactments of scenes from classic pornos like Deep Throat, Devil in Miss Jones and Behind the Green Door.

It’s a cute idea, but the gap between the heat and polish one remembers from those movies and the poorly lit, medium-hot re-performances is very deep indeed. Even a scene between all-pro guest stars April Flores (playing Georgina Spelvin in the bloody bathtub in Devil) and the ever-vibrant Kimberly Kane has surprisingly little energy. Madison Young, however, does have some nice moments as Linda Lovelace in Throat.
