CHINO, Calif. -
California Exotic Novelties will release
a personal massager designed exclusively for Living Beyond Breast Cancer,
a charity dedicated to empowering women affected by breast cancer at the Adult
Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.
Susan Colvin, founder and owner of Cal Exotics, called it an
"unprecedented move within the adult industry."
"The subject of breast cancer is one that is always relevant
for women," she told AVN Novelty Business.
"Seeing that Cal Exotics is owned and operated by a woman, this charity seemed
to be a logical choice. I've always been of the mindset that it's important to
give back."
Colvin, who typically prefers to keep her philanthropic
efforts private, decided to go public with the information, describing the partnership
as more than a fundraiser.
"It's an opportunity to raise awareness about breast cancer
and LBBC," she said. "They are an organization dedicated to improving the
quality of life for those affected by this disease."
The Papillon Massager's colors match the purple-and-yellow
theme of LBBC. A portion of the proceeds from its sale will be donated to the
organization.
Cal Exotics offers a point-of-purchase display housing 10
Papillon Massagers and bearing the motto "Empowering women's lives."
