RudeTV Launches With Cocktail Bash

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Rude.com's new webcasting arm RudeTV officially lifted off Monday night with a well-attended cocktail party in the refurbished studio previously occupied by KSEX.com.

Inside the studio, sprawling graffiti-style murals decorated the walls and a newly constructed greenroom greeted guests off the front lobby. A full spread of hors d'oeuvres and bar drinks was laid out for the taking, and industry personalities mingled while the station's first show aired live on large TV sets before them.  

That show was "Smell My Finger!" and it marked the return of Wankus, now the creative director for RudeTV, to the air, with Sunny Lane by his side as co-host. "Smell My Finger!" will be broadcast five nights a week, with an alternating lineup of co-hosts. The other starlets on the Wankus sidekick roster are Nicki Hunter, Cleopatra of the Nile, Monica Mayhem and Kylee King.

Also present at the party were Tony Batman, who is bringing his "A! Entertainment" to RudeTV Thursday nights, co-hosted by Anita Blue; Gary Garver, whose "Gary Garver Live" will air Friday nights, with co-host Fat James; and Baadmaster, returning with "Baadmaster's Dungeon" on Tuesday nights, with Satine Phoenix co-hosting.

Priscilla Russo, who will be hosting "Holla @ Your Girl" Tuesday nights, was also there, as well as Lexi Lamour and Ethan Cage, hosts of "Road Whore!" Wednesday nights, Mika Tan, Mya Mason, Kevin Blatt, Jeff Mullen, Powder and Dakoda Brookes.
