Trina Michaels Entering XPW Bikini Contest

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. — Adult performer Trina Michaels has signed on to take part in the upcoming revival of Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW) as a competitor in the Miss Xtreme Bikini Contest.

Founded in 1999 by Extreme Associates' Rob Black, the XPW folded in 2004, but is returning under the ownership of mainstream DVD distribution outfits XEG and Big Vision Entertainment. The launch event for the new XPW — "Cold Day in Hell" — takes place Saturday, May 24 at Aviation Park in Redondo Beach (1935 Manhattan Beach Blvd.), with attendance by XPW alumni including Terry Funk, Sabu, Raven, Sandman and The Gangstas.

"It's an honor to be part of this show," said Michaels. "I did my research and heard about this company, and ironically I knew people in the porn biz that were part of the XPW. I think I'm known to be pretty extreme. I think I'm known to be hardcore. I can't wait to show off all of my assets, and I'm going to give the fans an extreme bikini show that will make these hardcore wrestlers blush!"
