Mr. Skin Agrees to Mobile Deal With WAAT Media

MrSkin.com, a popular website featuring nude scenes from major motion pictures, today said it has signed an agreement with WAAT Media, one of the world leaders in late-night mobile entertainment, to distribute reviews and other content from its website to mobile devices.

MrSkin.com gained its popularity by offering its customers nude film scenes from major movie releases. The site receives more than 7 million visits a month from fans eager to check out its news, reviews, pictures, and clips of celebrity nudity and near-nudity. The partnership will launch with a special Mr. Skin Mobile Film Review program that will feature the hottest scenes from current movies.

"We are delighted to be working with Mr. Skin to bring a new and innovative made-for-mobile entertainment service to movie fans around the world," said Marc Brown, senior vice president of programming for WAAT Media. "In addition to current films, we will offer an extensive archival database, which can be searched by the name of the movie star or title of a film. Since we have distribution in over 40 countries reaching more than 1 billion mobile phones, there is enormous potential."

"We at Mr. Skin see an amazing 'skinergy' with WAAT Media's unsurpassed lineup of content and carriers," said Derek Meklir, vice president of marketing for Mr. Skin. "WAAT is the best partner for us to enter the mobile arena, particularly since our appeal is universal, with about 45 percent of our traffic coming from members outside the U.S."

Meklir said the service ultimately will include reviews with pictures, clips, montages, and such features as 'Best of' and 'Top 5' lists—plus other content from the website that will be adapted to meet mobile phone standards. He said the service also will feature weekly alerts to subscribers and an SMS response system by which users can get information on the "skinography" of any star.
