Python Pictures Releases First Series <I>Maximum Hardcore</I>

When James Melendy and his wife Jodi launched Python Pictures, they promised to bring new ideas to the market. They feel that with their first video, Maximum Hardcore, they've come through.

Rather than parody a movie, they've parodied a magazine. Not with the video - that's still good hard sex. They've placed the parody on the cover. The parody is of a cover, the cover of Maxim magazine.

"It's really exciting, We wanted to give the market something that wasn't already out there. If they (Maxim) has the number one men's magazine, then we should have the number one adult video," James Melendy told AVN.com.

Each new release in the Maximum Hardcore series will mock the previous months edition of Maxim. "We'll have the same pose, a girl that looks like the cover girl they used, and the same clothes. Have you looked at that magazine? They're selling sex, and so are we," said Melendy.

Directed by Corey Jordan, the first video in the series features Cindy Crawford on the boxcover, mimicking a pose by Christina Aguilara. Alaura Eden, Gisselle, Faith Grant, and Courtney D. round out the female roster for the video, with Tyler Durden, Trevor Zen, Alex Sanders, Brett Rockman, and John West providing the wood."

""I think this is different because it's good concept. It's like a magazine. Pretty girls having sex, We're making it prettier shooting wise. We're shooting pretty sex instead of nasty sex. The sex isn't as graphic, it's still hot, but there's no gaping assholes or anything. The girls are all adorable," said Jordan.

Maximum Hardcore will street on March 19.
