Harmony Films Announces AVN Awards Contest

LONDON - Harmony Films is holding a promotional contest that gives ten lucky fans the chance to attend the 2009 AVN Awards.

The contest winners will join performer Bobbi Starr and director Gazzman at the Harmony Films table in the show's industry-only area. The prize package also gives the winners access to the AVN Awards after party.

The British studio designed the contest to tie in with its first self-distributed U.S. DVD releases. Four winning "golden tickets" will be included in DVDs of the November releases Young Harlots: Dirty Secrets and Ladies of Pleasure. Another four tickets will be included in random copies of the December releases Nymphomaniac: Bobbi Starr and Tanya Hyde Sex Maniac. The final two tickets will be raffled off during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo and given out on the day of the awards.

"Since this will be our first AVN expo and AVN Awards Show on our own, we wanted to do something that would give back to the fans who've supported us since we entered the U.S. market," said Jason Maskell, Harmony's manager of sales and marketing. "For the fans of adult entertainment, there are few awards as large as the AVN Awards show in Las Vegas. This is, I believe, one of the first times fans will sit at a company's table as their guests. The night promises to be memorable with Gazzman, our head of production and director of the Fuck Me series, and Bobbi Starr, the cover girl and star of Nymphomaniac: Bobbi Starr, as the table's host and hostess."

The 2009 AVN Awards will take place Jan. 10 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
