Romance and FAT Girl director Catherine Breillat begins work in Portugal this week for her second project with AVN Award winner Rocco Siffredi, Anatomie D'Enfer.rnrn
The film is based on her book Pornocratie and examines the depths of sexual compulsion.rnrn
Breillat's frank and beautiful work has stirred controversy, but there is no arguing with her signature style and arresting visual choices. Anatomie D'Enfer again pairs Breillat with Fat Girl cinematographer Yorgos Avanitis. "What he's already shot are some of the most beautiful images I've ever seen on film," Breillat said. "Each shot is like a painting."rnrn
The film is scheduled to wrap in mid-February in anticipation of a Cannes debut.rnrn
