COSTA MESA, Calif. – Joanna
Angel and her company, BurningAngel, will be hosting a booth at a three-day
music and ink festival to be held at the Orange County Fair and Exposition Center, February 22 through 24.
The event, the MusInk Tattoo and Music Festival, is
presented by celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D and will feature a variety of
music acts and 200 needle-and-ink artists from all over the world.
The BurningAngel booth will host Angel, a number of her
BurningAngel.com girls and porn starlet Roxy DeVille, all of whom will be
signing autographs and posing for pictures. The booth will also offer tattooing
by Brandon of Traditional Ink.
"I'm so honored that my company is the only adult company
that will be represented at the festival," said Joanna. "And it was pretty awesome to see my
logo in the ad's for the event, right up there next to Rolling Rock and KROQ.
It gave me all sorts of warm fuzzies inside."
Kat Von D, who achieved a degree of celebrity from the TLC
shows "Miami Ink" and her own "L.A. Ink," has recently been
the subject of controversy over an anti-Semitic autographed photo she allegedly
sent to her former "Miami Ink" employer Ari James where the word
"Jewbag" was used. Von D has "vehemently" denied authoring
the text in the photo and TLC has taken no disciplinary action citing
insufficient evidence.
The
Orange County Fair and Exposition
Center is located at 88 Fair Drive, Costa
Mesa, Calif. 92626. Doors open at 2pm on Friday,
February 22. For more information and the festival and the bands scheduled to
