BIOGRAPHY

After first working as a nude model for Hustler, Penthouse, and others, Amber Lynn decided to make porn, with her debut in 1983's Personal Touch 3. She went on to become one of the biggest film stars of the '80s, though chose feature dancing over film work towards the end of that decade. She was a large draw along the dance circuit, and her earnings soared, and she decided to pursue "live entertainment" over film making until the dance market was flooded with other porn stars with the same idea.

In 1992, Lynn became involved with the Youth Aids Foundation of Los Angeles, an organization that helped runaways and teenagers with HIV by providing housing and assistance. She helped fund a gala that would raise funds for the financially-struggling organization, bringing in many adult industry supporters, much to the chagrin of some of the organization's mainstream supporters. Lynn fought for her right to donate to the cause, instigating a breakthrough in the acceptance of adult industry and its support for children's organizations and other non-adult involvement.

Lynn, now an AVN Hall of Famer, is enjoying yet another resurgence of popularity in the adult scene, touring the dance circuit and appearing in titles for notable companies such as Wicked Pictures and Zero Tolerance.
