Amy Ried, the blonde bombshell who took home AVN's Best Anal Sex Scene – Video in 2007, grew up a self-described "army brat," never living in one place very long. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, she found her way into adult in 2005 at around the age of 20, and rapidly gained a large following for both her stunning looks and her natural 34DD breasts.

At first, Ried performed only in girl/girl scenes, but began doing boy/girl in rather short order, and made the leap to anal in Jules Jordan's 2006 release Weapons of Ass Destruction 5. It was Vince Vouyer's Breakin' 'Em In 9, however, that won her the aforementioned AVN Best Anal Scene trophy, shared by Vince Vouyer himself. The same year, she also won Best Tease Performance for My Plaything: Amy Ried from Digital Sin. It wasn't until 2010, however, that she would collect another AVN trophy, though it was a major one: Best Couples Sex Scene for her pairing with Ralph Long in New Sensations' 30 Rock: A XXX Parody.

Over the course of her career, Amy Ried has held contracts with Third Degree Films and New Sensations, the latter of which distibuted the titles from her own production label, Riedemption Productions, for some time before she and partner Justice Young switched to Justin Slayer International for distribution.
