Gracie Glam tells AVN she has an appreciation for “art in any form.”

“I think I’m very artistic,” says the former competitive cheerleader, who once worked at Chick-fil-A. “I always thought it would’ve been cool to do nude modeling. I’m totally cool with being naked. I feel like the body and women and everything are artsy. I didn’t have an issue being naked and doing naked things.”

In February 2009 the aspiring model was taking college classes in south Florida, doing promotional work and going on mainstream casting calls when she decided to do her first nude layout, for Score magazine. A couple of solo videos followed and then she tried two girl/girl scenes with Reality Kings “and the rest is history,” Glam jokes.

“I didn’t ever expect to be in the industry and to be loving it as much as I do,” says Glam. “As long as I’m happy I’m going to keep doing it. And it’s like one of those things. You hear about people that wake up and they’re miserable with their career, but I wouldn’t live like that. I’m doing porn because I love doing it and everyone likes me doing it. I never like to put any pressure on anything. I kind of like to do my thing and whatever happens…”

Born in Raleigh, N.C., Glam attended 14 different schools while growing up in Atlanta, Orlando and Sarasota, Fla. She moved to L.A. on June 1, 2009, enrolling at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. “I wanted to go to that school forever,” she says. But Glam’s adult industry work picked up considerably when she landed in Porn Valley, so she put school on hold for the time being.

The versatile, green-eyed performer, who is becoming known for her different looks, jokingly admits she first wanted her stage name to be “Glamorous Gracie.”

“It’s funny. I always wanted to have this weird, alter-ego kind of thing that was super sexy,” Glam says. “I wanted to be Glamorous Gracie, but then people said no, it’s really bad, so I switched it around. … I know it’s fairly important to have a decent porn name, and I totally lucked out with the Glam thing.”

According to Type 9 Modeling agent Jayme, Glam quickly became one of the top girls at the agency. “She’s a true worker, a get up and go girl,” he says. Glam says she loves “any of the scenes I’ve done for Elegant Angel.”

“Mason just brings out everything with me,” Glam says. She can also be seen in You’ve Been Busted 2 (Red Light District), Suck It Dry 7 (Mike John/Jules Jordan), Mike John’s Peepshow (Mike John/Jules Jordan) and Buttwoman vs. Slutwoman (Elegant Angel).
