Val Dodds always knew she had a wild streak. But when she was arrested in Lincoln, Nebraska, for public nudity and trespassing at her old high school in 2013, even the then 19-year-old Dodds was surprised when she became a sudden media sensation.

The young adult performer, who then went by the pseudonym Val Midwest for her website, was soon on newspapers, magazines, websites and television news reports around the world.

Having to serve 30 days in jail did not keep Dodds from her ValMidwest.com adult website for long. Upon her release she was soon back at it—but this time, she was more popular than ever. Soon, Hustler magazine came calling and she became the June 2013 Hustler Honey.

Dodds finally took the plunge into adult movies and came out to Los Angeles. The slender 5-foot-9-inch beauty got her career started with a slew of girl/girl shoots that solidified her reputation as an enthusiastic performer with a down-for-anything attitude not often seen in newcomers.

“I only do girl/girl since that’s what I love to do,” she said. “Girls are a lot more sensual and softer. Girls know their bodies and know what we like and we’re not the ones who have the penis [and] need to ram it into somebody all the time.”

Although she travels back and forth between Nebraska and California, Dodds doesn’t mind the commute every few weeks. “I love L.A., but I’m not going to move there. Lincoln is my home and there’s no way I would trade that.”

With her pig PJ and two dogs back home, she says her love for her pets, family and open country gives her reason to keep commuting. Meanwhile, the bubbly Dodds keeps busy with her website, camming schedule and her intensive boxing workout.
