The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection, a nonprofit organization devoted to preventing children from accessing online adult content, presented adult industry attorney Gregory Piccionelli with its annual Service Recognition Award. Each year, ASACP's Service Recognition Award is presented to one person whose consistent contributions have helped make the organization's work possible.
"ASACP has always been a community effort, and the ASACP Service Recognition Award is a small way of acknowledging the people who really go above and beyond the call of duty," ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine said. "Greg Piccionelli has shared his time and energy with ASACP for years, and we wouldn't be where we are today without him. He's an amazing and dependable resource!"
Piccionelli has performed pro bono legal services for ASACP since 2002. He was essential in the rollout of the RTA website labeling initiative.
