'Reason' Magazine Interviews John Stagliano

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Libertarian magazine Reason has published an interview with John Stagliano about his upcoming federal obscenity trial.

Reason's Nick Gillespie spoke to Stagliano in April while the AVN award-winning director was in Washington to be arraigned on charges of distributing obscene material through the mail and the Internet. 

In the 20-minute interview, Stagliano talks about the government's case against him and his defense strategy, how reading Ayn Rand influenced him to become a Libertarian, his experience living with HIV, his role as an innovator of gonzo porn, and more.
