Porn stars are willing to do just about anything, even do car windows – if it’s raising money for good cause like Protecting Adult Welfare (P.A.W.).
That’s why on Saturday May 24, porn stars such as Christi Lake and Selena Steele will gather in VCA’s parking lot at 9650 De Soto Avenue to wash cars during the Carnal Car Wash, the opening event of Liberty Weekend, a triad of events designed to raise money for adult foundations.
The Carnal Car Wash will feature “women of various states of undress and dress” according to event organizer Bill Margold.
“A smart consumer will stay in the car and take pictures of the women washing the car,” notes Margold, who hopes to see 100 cars show up. The event is being promoted via flyers and the Fans of X-rated Entertainment mailing list.
The following day is Bowling For Scholars, which raises money for a scholarship given by the Southern California Chapter of the Video and Software Dealer’s Association (VSDA) and the Free Speech Coalition.
Wrapping up the triad of events is Spanking Censorship Too, a fundraiser for the FSC, which will feature a live band and a lingerie auction at the Westchester sports grill at 5630 W. Manchester Ave.
“It’s important for people to support all three events. It shows that we are reaching outside our sexual interests and hitting sociological aspects that affect our industry. All of this is predicated on the theory that freedom isn’t free. There are no rights – only privileges, and if you don’t fight for your privileges you will lose them,” Margold stated.
