Hustler Banner Ordered Off Local Office Building

A banner advertising Hustler of Hollywood has been ordered taken down by Hamilton County zoning officials after the anti-pornography group Citizens for Community Values complained.

The group has also persuaded billboard companies to refuse Flynt's business.

The store's leasing contracts for two billboards owned by Baton Rouge, La.-based Lamar Outdoor Advertising along Interstate 75 were not renewed last fall. Lamar officials said CCV convinced them that the advertising violated community standards.

"It's the same old story with the CCV," said Jimmy Flynt, Sr. "They forced Lamar and other billboard companies to stop doing business with me, even though I do business with Lamar and other companies everywhere else in the country, but I can't here in Cincinnati."
