AIM to Adult Workers: We'll Provide Drug Test Kits

Saying many adult entertainment companies have been looking to institute mandatory drug testing for their performers and other workers, Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation is providing urine test kits, executive director Sharon Mitchell says.

"It's been up to AIM to give services to the (adult) community," Mitchell told AVN.com, "so here you go, guys. You wanted it, you got it."

AIM will provide easy-to-read instructions with each kit, and those who want a quick confirmation of the result can bring AIM the urine sample and they'll run a confirmation test with a laboratory for a $40 fee, Mitchell added.

But, she emphasized, the absolute ideal would be for people to go into AIM itself and get the tests.

"Send people here to test for free, and have the benefit of a certified drug and alcohol counselor to certify it," Mitchell said. "And we can help if there's a problem, we can get people to a rehab (facility), we can get people into our 12-step group on Thursday nights, we can get them whatever help they need."

Donated by Kbeech, the urine test kits can be picked up at AIM's facilities. "We'd appreciate a ten dollar donation," Mitchell said, "but if you don't have it, that's ok."
