Jules Jordan Battles Internet Piracy

In an effort to counter the rash of Internet piracy of Jules Jordan's DVD releases, he has placed a translucent watermark with his Website address on the screen for Jules Jordan's Flesh Hunter 4.rnrn

Jordan says that pirates have been using video captures and MPEGs from his DVDs with alarming frequency as of late and he wants to do something about it.rnrn

"It's not distracting at all," Jordan told AVN.com Friday. "The main thing is to deter pirates that are ripping off images from the DVD and using it on the Internet. If these pirates still want to rip off my shit, essentially, I'm going to use them for promotion."rnrn

"I'm experimenting with this," he continued. "We want to see the feedback from the fans. ... You watch news programs and almost every show has a watermark. It's almost normal to see a watermark on almost anything these days." rnrn

Jordan included a message to viewers at the beginning of FH4 explaining the reason for the watermark. The street date for FH4 is Wednesday.rnrn

Jordan's Ass Worship line (Jordan/Evil Angel) earned the AVN Award for Best Anal-Themed Series earlier this month.rnrn

He said that content from Anabolic Video and Red Light District has been pirated in the same manner in recent weeks.
