Private Director Nominated For Prestigious Sci-Fi Award

John Millerman's The Uranus Experiment 2 is now more than just a sharply sophisticated adult fantasy film - Millerman has put a major scalp on the Private Media Group belt by picking up a nomination for the prestigious Nebula Award by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.

Millerman was nominated for Best Script, competing against mainstream scripts for The Matrix, The Sixth Sense, The Iron Giant, and The Devil's Arithmetic. The Uranus Experiment 2, available on VHS, DVD, and at Private's main Website, was one of the company's most ambitious film productions yet.

If he wins the award, he would join some very illustrious company - prior such Nebula winners include Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder, Anne McCaffrey, and Frank Herbert.
