Awaken to the Biker Chicks

You could call it awakening to the hot biker chicks: The Awakening and Hollywood Biker Chicks leads off an impressive round of new Vivid DVD releases.

Directed by Paul Thomas, The Awakening - which was nominated for Best Film at the AVN Adult Video Awards this past January - stars Kobe Tai, Inari Vachs, Bobby Vitale, Michael J. Cox, Tyce Buné, Ted Shred, Ava Steele, Kimberlee and Dascha in what's called a "true story" of "the fragility of sexuality and how one woman found herself under the bright lights of blue cinema."

The DVD release features multiple angles, a virtual reality environment with full motion chapters and no regional coding.

Hollywood Biker Chicks spotlights former Penthouse Pet of the Year Julie Strain and another former Pet, Shannon Brock. The DVD version includes fantasy rooms, a behind-the-scenes segment, and also no regional coding, as well as being DVD-ROM compatible. Cgeryl Bianowsky, Julie Morrison, and Isabel Price round out the cast.

Gay porn lovers should find Aaron Austin: A Day In The Life a DVD treat. Austin is featured trying to hook up with Andrew Clay (no, not Andrew Dice Clay), but he keeps running into Jon Vincent and Brian Hart, though he finally gets what he wants with a little help from his friend, Danny Summers.

On the DVD version, you get multiple screens, full-motion chapters, a slide show gallery, previews of more forthcoming releases, and, again, no regional coding with DVD-ROM compatibility.

And, if your taste goes to silent style, you may want to give Silent Strangers a pull. The Judy Blue-directed film features Racquel Darrian stripteasing Derrick Lane; Alex Jordan and Steve Drake making love while Rasha watches silently; Racquel returning to play with herself while Lane puts the moves on Jordan; then Jordan taking on Racquel.

This DVD also features multiple screens and full motion chapters, plus 5.1 Dolby digital previews of forthcoming releases and, as the others, no regional coding. This one is also DVD-ROM compatible and includes bonus footage.

At $19.99, it is also the least pricey of the four releases - the others are priced at $34.99 each.
